Quinn Building Products have been announced as a category sponsor for the BMJ Industry Awards 2019. The company have agreed a sponsorship deal in the Merchant Awards to sponsor the Merchant Marketing Campaign of the Year Award.
The BMJ Industry Awards provide the UK Merchant industry with a platform to acknowledge outstanding performance and achievement for Merchants, Brands and Individuals, representing the diverse nature of the industry. The awards are designed to reflect industry opinion as winners are voted for by those working in the industry, rather than selected by a judging panel.
Speaking of the sponsorship announcement, Lee Gillman, Quinn’s GB Sales and Marketing Director, said,
“We believe it is right to acknowledge the achievements and successes within this industry and we’re delighted to support the BMJ Industry Awards. We’re sponsoring the Merchant Marketing Campaign of the Year Award and expect to see a very high standard of entries for this particular award.

The BMJ Industry Awards also provide a platform for the industry to vote for their favourite brands, and Quinn Cement has been nominated in the Best Heavyside Brand category. Lee Gillman went on to say,
“It’s a great achievement for Quinn Cement to be included in the list of nominees. We’ve seen tremendous growth for the brand over the last few years, particularly in 2018 with the launch of our new cement range. We’ve had a very successful 12 months and we’re delighted to be nominated for another award to acknowledge this.”
The nomination comes soon after Quinn Cement scooped the Supplier of the Year Award at the NBG Awards in November.
