Stefan Patterson

Process Control Engineer

“The role gives me a broad range of experience on real life projects which enables me to gain invaluable experience and to hone my skills in multiple disciplines, such as making continuous process improvements by adding additional control and visuals to aid operations, fault finding and efficient diagnosis, maintenance scheduling, and design and build of control panels.

In my current role I am responsible for PLC Maintenance, programming and fault finding onsite. I am also responsible for updating existing equipment to newer versions to avoid any future issues with obsolete electrical equipment. I hope to specialise in the field of Mechatronics. With the support of experienced Engineers and a dedicated mentor, I have progressed to become more knowledgeable and confident in my current role and the experience has helped me to make a more informed decision on the career pathway I wish to pursue.”
