The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality Management System and to support manufacturing and analytical projects by the review and approval of quality-related documents.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of ISO 9001: 2015 quality system to ensure compliance, carry out internal audits and reviews and report findings to management and continually strive to improve the quality system. You will maintain calibration register of all measuring equipment and maintain records, testing new raw materials and observing and recording problematic material and non-conformances.
In addition, you will be responsible for the maintenance of ISO14001: 2015 environmental management system, maintenance, and compliance of the IPPC License, assist in all audits involving the EPA and emission monitoring as well as maintaining appropriate records on site.
The candidate should have a good working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement i.e., 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen and undertake regular audits and inspections.
The successful applicant must hold a third level qualification or equivalent in a science related discipline. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of health & safety within the workplace and be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role.
