Quinn Industrial Holdings (QIHL) has been accredited with the Investors in People Silver standard for its two subsidiaries; Quinn Building Products and Quinn Packaging at an inaugural ceremony in Belfast Castle on Friday 26th February 2016. The award was presented to Caroline McCaffrey, Human Resource Manager at Quinn Building Products by Stephen Farry the Minister for Employment and Learning and Mark Huddleston the NI Commissioner for Employment & Skills.
The Investors in People is a recognised organisational management framework aimed at achieving high-performance through dedicated investment in employees. This prestigious accreditation is recognised across the world and throughout organisations as a mark of excellence and best practice in personnel empowerment and is a benchmark indicating quality employment.
Caroline McCaffrey commented “This is a very prestige award and a fantastic achievement for the Company. It is recognition of the vast changes that have been put in place within the business since QIHL took over the business in December 2014.

This award comes on the back of some very positive news from QIHL since it was acquired in December 2014 including significant new employment and investment and reinforces the intent of the business to quickly regain its position as the employer of choice in the region. The business employs over 750 employees in a range of manufacturing and related sectors in Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh and Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan.
