Quinn Continue Fleet Investment with Receipt of New Mobile Plant Machinery
Quinn Building Products has taken delivery of a range of heavy mobile plant machinery in recent months, an investment which is part of Quinn’s ongoing fleet and mobile plant replenishment programme which involves the replacement of older vehicles and machines with newer, more efficient models.
Speaking of the investment, Quinn’s Procurement Director, Donal O’Rourke, said,
“It’s a significant investment in new plant, but one which is important to ensure we maintain a safe and efficient fleet. Older machines must be replaced in a timely manner, and this has been an ongoing process for the last number of years. We expect the programme to continue over the next two to three years.”
In the latest phase of the replenishment programme, Quinn has received four excavators and three loading shovels, which follows the receipt of a 67-tonne excavator and a further two loading shovels in 2017.
