With UK Construction Week taking place on October 9th-11th in Birmingham’s NEC, Lee Gillman, Quinn Building Products’ GB Sales Director, looks forward to the show and gives a quick overview of what to expect at the Quinn stand this year, saying,
“UK Construction Week for Quinn GB is one of our most prestigious events this year. We will be delighted to promote our new cement range, our plastic range, which has been very successful to date. We will also be encompassing our full technical support team as well as our other range of products, our insulation, rooftiles and Quinn Lite blocks.”
Following its launch in the GB market earlier in 2018, the new Quinn Cement bagged range has resulted in a large increase in the company’s bagged cement sales in the region, and this will be one of the key products promoted at this year’s UK Construction Week. Quinn’s Master Grade Cement, Premium Grade Cement and General Purpose Cement is available through merchants across the UK and Ireland in both paper and weatherproof plastic packaging, and the Quinn team will be available to speak to visitors about the range on the Quinn stand.
Quinn’s full product range will also be promoted on the stand, and this will be supported by the Technical by Quinn team, whose support is very important to the company’s customer base in making sure they are not only aware of the range, but also the full technical capabilities of the products.
Quinn will also use the Show as an opportunity to raise awareness of the work they are doing in the area of responsible manufacturing, including environmental, biodiversity, community and people. Highlighting one of the core offerings in this area, Quinn’s mixed loads, Lee Gillman said,
“One of the key points for Quinn Building Products is our sustainability and responsibility, and part of this is something which we work very hard on, our mixed load opportunities for our merchant base. This enables our merchants to ensure there’s less vehicle movement, less paperwork, less traffic involvement and is very much of massive value to our customer base.”
UK Construction Week is a busy three-day event, with lots of learning, networking and hard work, and so we will introduce some light relief on the Quinn stand this year, as Lee commented,
“We intend to have an interactive and social stand with a bit of a competition, so it’s a bit of fun! There’ll be a large team there, so come along and enjoy the event with us.”
